Crazy

So I return home tonight a sober man,
I count my blessings, one should be as lucky as I am,
One thing is missing, a mate to sail with me,
A dog without a bone, a girl without her phone,
I need the extra piece, the one that solves the puzzle,
The one that fills the void, the one with the smile,
Only time will tell, of that I'm sure,
If a man is so lucky, he will surely endure,
It will be worth it in the end,
For she is his best friend,
She treats him like a king, he thinks she is his queen,
Lets wind this clock forward,
It's you I run toward,
Think of me often as I of you,
For you are the light that shines through this foggy dew.
